Birthday Party Policies
Birthday Party Package:Dance Fever Pizza Party:
2-hour party with pizza and a bottle of water per child attending.
What is Provided:
1. Full use of the facility2. We setup and cleanup3. We provide invitations that you are welcome to use4. 15min early entrance for you to prepare to welcome your guests5. You select the theme for the table cloth and some decorations that we provide. Example: Paw Patrol/Specific Colour Theme 6. Decorations Provided Are: (a) Eight balloons in solid colours to match the theme (if available two balloons with the image or wording of the theme will be placed on the main table, if it works with our budget) (b) One themed table cloth for the main table (c) One solid coloured table cloth for the cake table (d) Themed plates for pizza and cake for each child attending (e) Themed napkin for each child attending (f) Cutlery for cake for each child attending (g) Table and chairs to accommodate each child attending7. Circular shaped cake/cupcake stand 8. Knife for cutting the cake and lighter for lighting the candles9. A scrapbooking craft for each child attending10. Dance lesson and activities for each child attending11. Printed photo for each child attending 12. Two squares of pizza for each child attending (From our experience, this is a well-sized serving for most children. You are welcome to bring additional light snacks)13. A bottle of water for each child attending14. Instructor leads craft, dance lesson, activities and supervises the disco dance party. Song requests can be made in advance or during the party
What you need to bring:
The only thing we ask you to bring is the cake/cupcakes and candle(s).
What you are welcome to bring in addition to cake/cupcakes and candles: - You can bring loot bags for your guests to take home.
- You can bring light decorations like a helium balloon bouquet, or themed banner, but please keep additions minimal.
- You can bring light snacks, such as a veggie tray, for the parents and children. Please provide plates and cutlery for any additional snacks you bring, and ensure all items are peanut and tree nut free.
- You may bring juice boxes and "coffee to go” carry tote (no coffee machines); however, you are responsible for providing the cups, milk, and sugar.
Booking Process: *All Bookings are First Come First Serve 1. Submit Booking Form 2. When The Edge Admin Team Accounting Department receives the form, an invoice via Square will be emailed3. Submit Payment*Remember - Booking is not guaranteed until payment is received*If payment is not received within 24hours, invoice will be cancelled and your spot will be given to the next person booking a birthday party for that date and time.
Birthday Party Cancellation Policy: 1. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the date will receive a full refund less a $40.00 administration fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the date will receive a 50% refund. Admin Fee is non refundable.2. In the Case you need to cancel, you must submit your request to The Edge School of Performing Arts (The Edge Performing Arts Inc.) by email to TheEdgePA@icloud.com. Once notice is received, refund process will commence. Allow 30 days for a refund to process. Administration Fees are non refundable Theme/Decorations: You select the theme for the table cloth and some decorations that we provide. Example: Specific Colour Theme / Minnie Mouse etc. Party Schedule Example:First 15 min approx. - We start with a scrapbooking craft for each child attending. This way guests that arrive late don't miss the dance lesson and activitiesNext 45min approx. - Children attending enjoy a high-energy dance lesson and activities, followed by a group photo that is printed onsite and added to each child’s scrapbook.Next 30min approx. - it's time for pizza and celebrate with cake!Time left in the booking time slot - Free time dancing with disco lights for each child attending supervised by instructor
Pizza: - Pizza is from Pizza Nova. Each child attending receives two squares of pizza. From our experience, this is a well-sized serving for most children. You are welcome to bring additional light snacks. - We’re unable to place orders for additional pizza. If you’d like extra, you’re welcome to arrange it on your own and provide plates and napkins for the additional pizza. - Pizza and bottle of water is served by our instructors. - From our experience, we’ve found that the least food and drink waste occurs when only pizza and a light snack are provided. Often, the more food and drinks brought, the more leftovers are discarded at the end of the party, including uneaten cake slices. Birthday Party Pizza Order Policy:Pizza is ordered from an external vendor, please note the following:1. Third-Party Vendor Responsibility: Pizza is provided by an independent vendor and not directly by our facility. We coordinate the order on your behalf for convenience, but we do not control the vendor’s operations or delivery timelines. Timeliness of Delivery.While we make every effort to place orders accurately and on time, we are not responsible for any delays, errors, or quality issues caused by the vendor, including: Late delivery of food Incorrect or missing items Cold or unsatisfactory food No Compensation for 2. Vendor Delays: In the event that the pizza arrives late or there are issues with the order, our facility is not liable and will not offer refunds, credits, or compensation for the vendor's error. 3. Vendor Disputes: Any disputes regarding food quality, missing items, or timing must be addressed directly with the vendor. Birthday Party Terms and Conditions: 1. Details can be finalized up to 1 week before the party - this includes number of guests, theme and any extras.2. Your booking will go through to our admin team who will be in touch via email from TheEdgePA@icloud.com., sending you confirmation email and party invitation. Our admin team will then be in touch in the week leading up to the party to finalize details of the party - but you are of course welcome to touch base regarding the party at any time to TheEdgePA@icloud.com.3. There is no reduction in price should your party be less than 12 children or if some children don't participate fully in dance lesson, activities or disco party4. The adult booking the party is responsible for any children left unattended – we are not responsible for any children during your time with us. Children must be accompanied at all times, either by their parents or the adult who has booked the party. 5. The adult booking the party is also responsible for the amount of children arriving to the birthday party – all walking children will be charged for participating within the birthday party. If a sibling has arrived without prior knowledge to yourself, payment still needs to be made by yourself or the child’s parent. 6. The time you book your birthday party for is the time that we are ready to start – if you’re late or wish to wait for late arriving guests that is not a problem, but it does run into your time. 7. Amendments made to the booking less than 3 days prior to the event result in additional charges.8. Should a booking reduce or increase in numbers, please advise us at your earliest convenience.9. A $40 administration fee will be applicable on any amendments made to the booking, such as postponement or moving the date. 10. Children are required to eat & drink in the dining area. If there is a mishap it’s ok but let us know quickly so we can clean it right away.11. If you or your birthday guests do not feel well please do not attend the party.12. The Edge Performing Arts Inc, is not responsible or liable for any cancellation, including illness, adverse weather, or if the school is shut for any unforeseen circumstances. 13. If a sibling of a child that is already attending shows up and wants to join the party, payment for additional child still needs to be made on site by yourself or the child’s parent before child participates. 14. The Edge Performing Arts Inc., reserve the right to change, update or amend the terms and conditions set out as above.
Classroom and Code Of Conduct Policy1. The Edge School of Performing Arts (The Edge Performing Arts Inc.) has the right to reserve and change the dance platform to in person or virtual. 2. Respect for teachers, parents and peers will be expected at all times.3. Respect others personal space.4. Appropriate attire5. No swearing or foul language .6. School Closure Policy: Pandemic / Closure for reasons outside of our control:The Edge School of Performing Arts (The Edge Performing Arts Inc.), can not refund tuition if forced to close due to an event out of their control ie. war, riots, pandemic, natural disaster, political protests, terrorism, power outage, climate crisis.
