Chat Group Etiquette Policy
It is important for The Edge School of Performing Arts (The Edge Performing Arts Inc) to prioritize confidentiality and ensure the only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information.
1. The Edge School of Performing Arts (The Edge Performing Arts Inc.) does not administer or host Team Chat Groups via Stack TeamApp or WhatsApp or other applications.
2. The Edge School of Performing Arts (The Edge Performing Arts Inc.) does not designate/select a Dance Team Parent/Dancer/Captain to lead Dance Team Chat Groups. If you give your contact information to a dance parent/dancer you are doing it voluntarily.
3. In effort to avoid any miscommunication or unintentional influence, the amount of classes/routines a family selects for their dancer and if they participate in additional judging events/workshops/conventions is each family’s personal choice between The Edge School of Performing Arts and the Parent/Guardian and not a group/team decision.
4. The Edge Admin Team will communicate by email via Stack TeamApp the final numbers for classes/routine/additional judging events/workshops/conventions etc. if necessary.
5. Maintaining confidentiality is critical. The Edge School of Performing Arts continues to be careful when communicating about personal matters and respects the right of privacy of every student. The Edge School of Performing Arts continues to demonstrate kindness, compassion and respect for each of our Edge members. Confidentiality is key in chat groups to create a safe and secure environment for everyone involved.
