Injury Policy
When an injury/concussion/medical reason is reported to The Edge School of Performing Arts: Parent/Guardian is to follow these before your dancer returns to dance activity/classes/event:
Step 1: Medical Note of diagnosis is to be provided to The Edge Admin Team by email at TheEdgePA@icloud.com. Dancer can observe class when instructed to refrain from dance or physical activity. Observing class is counted as attendance. No make up classes, pro-rate fees or refunds for missed classes due to injury
Step 2: A Description of any restrictions or description of gradual return to dance advised by medical professional pertaining to dance activity is to be emailed to The Edge Admin Team at TheEdgePA@icloud.com.
Step 3: Submit The Edge School of Performing Arts Self-Attestation Form before dancer can return to participating in dance classes/activity.For Concussion, The Edge School of Performing Arts return to Dance Self-Attestation Form will be need to be submitted to to The Edge Admin Team.The Edge Admin Team will provide the parent with a link to The Edge School of Performing Arts return to Dance Self-Attestation Form by email. If Personal injury occurs with the first six weeks of the session and the dancer is not able to return to the remaining classes of the session due to a personal injury, a credit will be applied to the upcoming session minus the classes attended along with a $50 adjustment fee. Credit expires 14 days before the upcoming Session. Credit expires if not used towards the upcoming Session. Credit is not ongoing and will not be moved to any future Sessions or Summer Camps. No Exceptions, No Refunds.
